Get More Affordable Calls While on Holiday

I frequently go to Spain (Villa Moraira) and I have a few tricks I use to get cheaper calls. A GSM phone that is also unlocked is what you need. What this means is that you can use any type of SIM card you want and still access the local phone network. If you have a phone with a camera you can take Moraira Villa Images as well.

Now that you know that you phone makes use of GSM you will be able to pick from some other options. An international SIM card is one very good option which you can get from STA. The card costs $9 and also comes pre paid with $10 worth of credit. You also get 30 minutes of free times for your friend at home to call you. This is really handy if people need to reach you, as you don’t want to be responsible for them having a massive phone bill at the end of the month. Have the card delivered to your house before you set off and avoid any hassle of picking one up whilst on the go.

Another option is a 10 euro SIM from Happy Movil. You get the card with 5 euros already on it and per minute costs start from just 5.8 cents. This will supply you with around 71 minutes of call time, great for anyone on a short break.

A Vodafone SIM can give you a hours worth of calling for just 28c. When you call home you will be charged just 1.2c a minute, which is very cheap in comparison to the other providers. Being just one of four networks in Spain Vodafone offers great coverage. Which is great at stopping your leisure holidays turning into walking holidays.
